How to Clear Cookies in Firefox
Clear cookies in Firefox for one site or all sites using the address-bar lock icon or Privacy & Security settings, on desktop or Android.
Firefox lets you clear cookies for the single site you’re viewing or for every site at once. For one site, click the lock icon at the left of the address bar and choose Clear cookies and site data. For all sites, go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data and click Clear Data. Either way, removing cookies logs you out of accounts and empties shopping carts, so pick the scope you need.
Clear cookies for the site you’re on
This is the safest option; it leaves every other login untouched.
- Open the site, then click the lock icon to the left of the address bar.
- Click Clear cookies and site data.
- Confirm the removal when Firefox asks.
Reload, and you’re signed out of that site only.
Clear cookies for a specific site from Settings
Use this when the site isn’t open in a tab. Go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data and click Manage Data. Type the site’s name in the search box, select it, then choose Remove Selected and Save Changes.
Clear cookies for every site
In the same Cookies and Site Data section, click Clear Data. Set When to a time range (Everything wipes all of it), keep Cookies and site data checked, and click Clear. To keep your cache, uncheck Temporary cached files and pages first.
