Wi-Fi shows connected but nothing loads. Work through the router, the sign-in page, Private DNS, VPN apps and router blocks in the order that finds it.

When Chrome pages won't load, the fix is usually local. Rule out your network, hard-refresh, disable extensions, and clear the cache to get back online.

Clear Chrome's built-in host cache from the net-internals page, flush socket pools, and reset your Windows or macOS resolver to fix stale DNS entries.

ERR_CONNECTION_RESET means Chrome's connection was cut mid-request. Clear the cache, flush DNS, reset the network stack, and rule out VPN and antivirus.

ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED means the server turned your browser away. Check if the site is down, then flush DNS and clear proxy, firewall, and hosts-file blocks.
